Hello everyone, I am looking for some suggestions here. I am currently on my OPT which started on February 2015. My degree falls under STEM so I can apply for 17 month STEM extension after my initial 12 month OPT expires. But, there has been a lot of rumors recently about 17 months STEM extension being cancelled starting from 2016. So, I was thinking about applying for TPS, but just want to make sure that applying for TPS won’t affect me when my company files for h1. Does anyone have any good understanding on this subject? Advice and suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you

I'm in a similar situation like yours but I applied and got my EAD esterday. I don't think it will affect H1b decision.
