 Filing I-485 without hiring lawyer

Hello Guys,
Has anyone done this before? Filed I-485 without hiring a lawyer? It seems like one document you need from your employer is that future employment letter. Please write your experience.

My lawyer gave me a copy of documents that went with 485. I haven't looked what was in it but believe me it was big stack.

This is the list my lawyer gave me. It looks like almost everything should by done by me... so why pay to the lawyer. Only thing I am worried is, RFE. If somebody has done it before, what sort of RFE have you gotten in AoS. I guess it should not related to employer anymore becuase it was already taken care in I-140. Anyone please respond!!
