I am doing some research on Dark Matter and their detection method for my senior seminar . Can anyone suggest some good books that describes the phenomena both qualitatively and quantitatively. I am looking into the DAMA project.  I am trying to find the physics behind this project. If you could suggest any journal paper or book for this it would be helpful.

You should contact sri 5 dipendra. Taranath Ranabhat, Paras, Ganendra or Girija might have  some idea on it.

Dude i have no idea in this field but couple of weeks before i had read an article on dark matter and i had come across AXION. although half of the article didnt make any sense to me but u seem like u r in this field so it might interest you.

well forgot to add something. it said something like some experimentswere conducted to prove the existance of particle but it is yet to be found out and many ppl have started to believe  tht they dont exist.......
