What is the current wait time for immigrant visa for the parents right now in Kathmandu? It has been 2 months since NVC confirmed that they are working with US embassy to schedule an interview. If somebody could kindly provide a timeline, it would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance

Hello Hello88, I am on the same page. NVC confirmed that they are working with US embassy in Nepal to schedule an interview. For me, the timiline is different. I got the confirmation email from NVC 1 week ago. From what I heard, it takes around 2 to 4 weeks for them to schedule an interview. Not sure if your scenario is an outlier or if this is the new trend. There are ways to expedite your parent's interview setup if you can prove that there is an emergency for them to come to US.

@Hello88, did you hear back from NVC about your parent's interview date?
