Have anyone been to Nepal recently? How’s checking at the Airport while leaving the gate? I am taking few iPhones and iPads to my family and friends. I be having like 5 iPad and 2 iPhones in the luggage

आइ फोन चै रजिस्टर नगरी चल्दैन आजकल तेसैले एरपोर्ट मै डिकलिएर गरेर भोउचर काटेर लादा पछि रजिस्टर गर्दा दोहोरो जरिवाना पर्दैन । ५ ओटा आइप्याड चै आती नै भयो , २ ओटा सम्म छुट हुन्छ बाकिको भन्सार तिरेर लानुस , किनेको बिल राख्नुस अनि तेस्मा १२.५ %भन्सार तिरेर लानुस तिन ओटाको नत्र नेपाली दर अनुसार रसिद काट्छ जुन अलि महँगो पर्न जान्छ , आफु संग जाने कोहि छ भने वहालाइ १ २ ओटा बोक्न दिदा भन्सार बाट बाचिन्छ । ५ ओटा आइ प्याड र २ ओटा इ फोन ( नया ) चै छिर्दैन चोर बाटो बाट । लुकाउनुको कुनै अर्थ छैन

make sure to not take the package the phones/pad came with. put them in handcarry. should be ok.

Well it depends. I landed few days ago and there were about 1700 people arrived at the same time. It was chaos, all they wanted was to clear people as soon as possible. No checking, no custom declarations nothing.

@ketofarar I might drop some items; just to be on the safe side. Covid cases been down so they could go crazy on checking and scanning the luggages. I never underestimate Nepalese security and police to go over the board just to give hell
@ Phatte someone here mentions how phones should be declared as a gift if not IMIE could be blocked ?? I guess govt wants us to register foreign phones so they get the money. iPads and computers should be fine. Would be great if they just get us out with out checking.
